Participant Agreement, Safety, and Booking Terms

Retreat dates: 25th July–2nd May 2026

Facilitators and business entities

This retreat is facilitated collaboratively by Maja Jadrijevic (Atelier of Life). Any credits, transfers, or future offering references in these terms apply only to the next hosted by Maja Jadrijevic as set out below.

1) Retreat experiences (indicative)

Your retreat experience may include: embodied yoga and meditation; movement and dance journeys; breath and sound practices; devotional circle, ritual and ceremony (including cacao); included massage; optional bodywork sessions; time in nature and rest; temple or cultural visits; short outings by driver/van; shared meals, journaling, and free time. The flow adapts to weather, group needs, local conditions, and venue schedules.

2) Your responsibility and choice

You are responsible for your wellbeing throughout the retreat. You choose your level of participation, modify practices as needed, pause for rest, and reach out for support at any time.

3) Health, disclosures, and suitability

Before arrival, share with us in writing any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, recent surgeries, medications, or mental health considerations. Some experiences (including certain breath practices, heat/cold experiences, bodywork, and ceremony) may be unsuitable for some participants. You agree to choose what supports your wellbeing.

4) Risks you acknowledge

You accept the inherent risks of travel and retreat participation, including: heat and humidity; sun exposure and dehydration; uneven ground, steps, and slippery surfaces; insects and animals; pool areas; contact with fire, embers, smoke, or hot surfaces during ritual; touch during bodywork (with consent); sound levels during music, chanting, or movement; local road travel and traffic conditions (driver/van/taxi environments); food sensitivities; and weather or other unforeseen events. You voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown.

5) Travel documents and insurance (required)

You are responsible for a valid passport, visa/entry requirements, and any recommended health precautions for travel. You agree to hold comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical care, emergency evacuation, trip interruption/cancellation, and personal property cover.

6) Cultural respect and boundaries

You agree to honour local customs in sacred and cultural spaces and follow guidance on dress, offerings, photography, and conduct. Consent for touch is honoured at all times. Personal boundaries and respectful communication guide the group space.

7) Release of liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Maja Jadrijevic, Atelier of Life, any facilitators, assistants, contractors, drivers, activity providers, and the venue or hosts from claims, losses, or damages arising from or related to your participation, including travel to and from retreat activities, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct. You agree to indemnify the released parties for claims arising from your own actions.

8) Emergency care consent

In an emergency, you consent to first aid and/or medical treatment and accept responsibility for all associated costs, including transport and medical services.

9) Payments, cancellations, and transfers

This booking is for Return to the Essence — Sri Lanka (25 April–2 May 2026) for the accommodation option selected.

Deposit and securing your place

  • Deposit: $555 AUD secures your place.

  • The $555 AUD deposit is non-refundable.

Payment options and balance deadline

  • Balance due: 1 February 2026.

  • Payment plan options are available.

  • After your deposit, you will be contacted to arrange your preferred payment method for the remaining balance.

  • Preferred payment method: bank transfer to avoid platform fees.

  • Bank transfer details: Maja Jadrijevic — BSB 063-147 — Account No. 10913017.

  • Other payment options available: Zip, Afterpay, and PayPal (any provider fees are your responsibility).

No change of mind refunds

  • The $555 AUD deposit is non-refundable.

  • If you choose to pay by instalments or in full, all payments made are also non-refundable in the event of change of mind, change of circumstances, schedule conflicts, personal preference, or inability to attend.

  • Instead, amounts paid may be transferred as a credit toward the next Atelier of Life retreat, subject to the transfer terms below.

  • This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Date transfer (credit)

  • If you notify us 30+ days before 25 April 2026, you may request a one-time credit toward the next Atelier of Life retreat scheduled within 12 months of the original retreat start date.

  • The credit equals payments received minus the $555 deposit and any unrecoverable supplier costs already paid on your behalf.

  • Credit use is subject to availability and current retreat pricing.

Inside 30 days

  • Credits requested within 30 days of 25 April 2026 are discretionary and depend on recoverable venue and supplier costs.

  • Where a credit is approved, it may be used for another Atelier of Life retreat within 12 months of the original retreat start date, subject to availability and current pricing.

If we cancel or cannot deliver

  • You may choose either a full refund of retreat payments made or a credit.

  • Atelier of Life is not responsible for flights, visas, insurance, or other external travel costs.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including remedies where a major failure occurs.
